Fangai Lupe

This is a Tongan classic, made popular for a new generation of Islanders by Spawnbreezie (who is Samoan). We love our Tongan music, too!

  1. Gosh you guys are so observant lol..

Yes this song is Tongan, but Spawnie is Samoan. This site is for songs that are not only written in the Samoan language, but also songs that are performed by Samoans (whatever language it might be) and songs that lots of Samoans love, for example the beautiful Tokelauan jams from Te Vaka.

Hope that helps ease your concerns about this song being Tongan.

    🙂

    1. These coconuts need to sit back and enjoy the music no matter where from tell em.

    1. Mate its Tongan, proper old Tongan…if you were Tongan you would know but I’m guessing not, some of the words are misspelled but either than that…its Tongan.

    2. firstly dont call me bro secondly i dont care if it not proper tongan lyrics or not so just stay out of my way.

  4. oh! sorry. did u read the comments that says, “YOUR DADDDDY SAYS?” that was me actually. and YAY! I LIKE MAORI PEOPLE WHEN I SEE THEM COMING TO THIS WEBSITE. im maori too, kiaora bro1

  5. Coming from a Tongan who grew up in the thick of it fresh in Tonga, song is a Tongan oldie, lyrics are proper Tongan none of the slang that’s used nowadays by the youth(mind a few words misspelled but it’s fine a samoan probably wrote it). When did everyone become so anal(sorry for my wrong) about lyrics? It’s about Polynesia not Samoan or Tongan! Maaaannnn >:(

  6. Its a hit in PNG nite clubs… I sing it too… and am a Motuan from PNG.

    1. Please stop this argument God told us to love one another as he loved us. so Please calm down. spawnbreezie has but his soul and faith creating this song just for you not to listen to the words but to bring joy to the world he has used his gift from god. God didn’t say bring a beautiful noise. he said to bring a joyful noise. he wrote this song because he loves every cultural nation in this world. TYPE ALLELUIA IF YOU AGREE
