Verse 1
Ifo maia lou ao Gently bow your head
Sei ou faapaleina oe so I can crown you
I la’u viiga with my praises
O lou mamalu paia, Your holy majesty
ia faaneeneeina shall be exalted
Agelu ma au o le lagi Angels and heavenly hosts
Kerupi ma serafi, Cherubim and Seraphim
ma nuu uma taitasi and every nation
Ia faaloalo i le Atua Honor the Lord
Omai tatou tapuai Come let us praise him.
Chorus
O lou pale lea, lou Tupu It’s Your crowning glory, You’re my King
Laei oe i le viiga ma le mamalu I’ll clothe you in praises and magnifications
O lou pale lea, lou Alii, It’s Your crowning glory, You’re my Lord
Iesu Ou te ifo toatuli ma vivii On bended knees, Jesus I will praise thee.
Verse 2
Tuu maia lou aao Kindly lend me your hand
Sei ou mulumuluina i ou loimata so I can caress them with my tears
O lou mamalu paia, Your holy majesty
ia faaneeneeina shall be exalted
O le uu manogi fai lea ma taulaga Like an offering of sweet fragrant oil
O lau viiga these are my praises
Ou te ifo tapuai i lou Atua e toatasi I will kneel and worship my one and only Lord.
Verse 3

Malo au pito Loli for the translation, stay Blessed!

i love this song with all my heart and soul, but I am just a bit concern with this particular line…I know it means well, but…
Verse 1 Line 3
I la’u viiga… you probably meant it to be like crowning you with my singing, or my voice through praises…but it could also be interpreted as crowning you with my praises (as in my glory)…. please don’t get me wrong because I love the song the tune and many lives in our church have been led back to God because of this song…..but I struggle a bit at this one line…

Malo au pito and Vinaka Vakalevu for such a wonderful song. It made my day when I heard it, and haven’t stopped listening to it. What a way to start my Sunday morning here in the UK, takes the cold dreary winter days and turns it into something beautiful, refreshing, challenging and my journey in life, seems more bearable. I am Blessed, and hope you all will be blessed abundantly!

My very first time hearing Somoan singers and I am truly blessed. I am in love with “. O Lou Pale Lea”. Heard it got the first time yesterday and I played it all day. Even thought I don’t understand the words, it really ministered to me. I was up until using the Samoan/English dictionary to find out what “O Lou Pale Lea”, was. GOD bless your Praise Team. You are truly blessed.
