Samoan version of Roger Whittaker’s Last Farewell

O lo’u va’a o lo’o fa’atali pea i totonu ole ava
Fa’amoemoe mo taeao olea faimalaga
Ma lo’u nu’u ua ta’uta’ua talu ole tama o aiga
O lo’u nu’u ua fa’atumulia i o’u mafaufauga
Taeao ou folau ese atu, tofa oe Ama
E ui ina tiga talu lenei mafutaga

chorus:
Ua lalelei tasi lava oe
Ama ua na o oe lava
Lou lalelei ua le mafai e upu ona fa’amatala
(x 2)

Pogisa lea ole loto po’o lea ea lona taunu’uga
Ua galo le oti ile alofa ia oe fuga
Sogi maia lo’u au tu’u mai uma lou malosi
Avea pea oe ma ou Atua seia o’o ile oti
O oe ole numera afe e susulu pea lava
Tosina uma loto o tagata i lou malamalama

chorus x3

Mitia ile sau lou manogi a o agi le matagi
Dear ea po’o lea le uiga po ose lavea’i
Na ou folau mai vasa e tele ona o lo’u mana’o
Oi aue talofa ia ita a nei a fano
Ta fia pa’i tasi i lou lalolagi ma ou malaga ese atu
Tu’u pea i le atua e fa’afouina nai ou manatu

Thank you for posting this! I was just watching a documentary on youtube about Samoan musicians and it’s shocking how this song’s tune has traveled to different songs. like Naumati Lagona, a common example.
