    1. Hi lily

‘Uma’ means ‘all’. Falealili is a district in Samoa, so ‘Falealili uma’ just means ‘all of Falealili’.

      Hope that helps 🙂

  5. I am Papua New Guinean and thank you for having the lyrics available of the net. I can now learn and sing the lovely song (Falealili uma).

  6. The first 2 verses talks about the government of Falealii and its links to Aleipata and the atu Safata

The 3rd verse urges Falealii’s chiefs to look after the district to ensure the unity and continuing harmony of the people

The 4th verse pays homage to Samoa and its progress in the world using the metaphor of Samoa as a ship on the wide ocean sailing ever onwards
